12 tags of Christmas week #4
Love using my embossing folders with ink. I inked 2 tags using a TH embossing folder with 2 colors of the colorbox chalk inks. I used the bisque and embossed one as the background and cut out a warm red poinsettia from the second one. Layered on top i inked a cream flower and attached with a brad. Added the pearl wire which you can make but this I bought. Love to add ribbon or wire so my tags can hang. On a tree in a bathroom or on a hook. Thanks lLinda for your inspiration to make a poinsettia. So much fun! http://thefunkiejunkie.blogspot.com/

12 tags of Christmas week #3
I am working on my 12 tags of Christmas with http://thefunkiejunkie.blogspot.com/
This is week #3 tag. Will get back to week #2. Was excited and inspired by this one. Loved the Funkie Junkie sweater look. i also took inspiration from Autumn and used border stamps for background. I inked a tag I made from upcycled x-ray folders with warm red Color box chalk ink. Then stamped with Christy Tomlinson border stamps with the Ranger sandal acrylic paint dabber which I love. I painted red bells with a brown copic marker to make them blend better. Tied the bells around the reindeer die that I had cut last year. Inked some paper green and punched the pine. I sometimes just ink paper with whatever is handy instead of looking for a paper that matches. I love that look of painted or inked paper. Also did that with the paper I used for the TH Merry Christmas stamp. Inked my ribbon at the top and added a bit of black that I cut from the ribbon i used on the bottom of the tag. I love making these tags.. The 25 is from a ruler strip i had.

Christmas snowflake 2015
Loving making Christmas in Oct. Starting the Funkie junkie 12 tags of Christmas challenge. Used the Tim Holtz snowflake folder and the snowflake thinlit dies. I inked the snowflake folder before embossing some collaged paper I had from last year. Inspiration came from the beautiful tag made by The funkie junkie boutique. http://www.thefunkiejunkie.com/
